Thanks to all who made our 3rd Annual Emma’s Emmbassadors Golf Tournament a great success!
We Still Need Your Help!!!
We put a record number of golfers on the course this year and with the 27-hole layout at Marietta Country Club, we were able to have 3 flight winning teams. We want to thank Rodney Beloso and Hot Rod’s Creole for providing the required nourishment while the Tilted Kilt provided the necessary hydration…and Sibahn! Our Mission
The Mission of Emma’s Emmbassadors is to financially support the developmental needs of children with Autism and their families in North Georgia and the surrounding areas.
Accomplishing Our Mission
Emma’s Emmbassadors, Inc. continues to grow in support. In 2011, we held our Annual Golf Tournament which raised over $14,000 as well as launched a new event called “Girls Night Out for Emma’s Emmbassadors” in Acworth. This event garnered local support from downtown Acworth’s restaurants and boutiques while spreading the word on Autism and Emma’s Emmbassadors.
In 2012, we look to continue our success in supporting families and communities through your generous financial support. We provided assistance to several families this year supplying needed financial support for Medicaid Applications, Communication devices, Therapy costs, and even an adult tricycle so one family with an autistic child could include him on their routine bike rides. Our goal for 2012 is even more ambitious! Our mission is only beginning. This year we are targeting a local athletic park to include Emma’s Island as a place for families with autistic children to enjoy the excitement of youth athletics while having the peace of mind that their special needs children are playing in a safe and supportive environment. Please click on Upcoming Events for more information about ways you can help. Besides the golf tournament and Girls Night Out, we will renew our Junior Tennis Tournament in the Spring of 2012.
